When Ella got her hat in the mail, she lit up and screamed โHAT!โ And even though itโs pretty chilly outside and a little early to be wearing this adorable Demin Strip Sun Hat, she has been wearing it all day every day!! I especially love this denim stripe hat, because if I had to choose a name for the color ofย Ellaโs eyes, I would call them โchambray,โ which is the exact color of this hat! Donโt her eyes just pop??
Let me tell you a little bit about Emily and her precious shop! She lives in California, and she started her sewing journey making surfer girl clothes in the 90โs, before surf clothes were available for femalesโฆ When her youngest was about one year old, she started her Etsy shop with toddler girl sundressesย made out of vintage sheets (Iโm really sad I missed this phase of her shop, arenโt you?!). She now makes all sorts of useful items for adults and kiddos!
Sheโs inspired by the ocean, which is just minutes from her home in Los Ososโฆ Even the name of her shop โBlue Corduroyโ comes from the term surfers use when they look out on the ocean and see wave upon wave. She loves working from home because it allows her to spend time with her family, but she also loves creating at the beach (wouldnโt you?!).
